How long is Dinoblade?
A focused main-path run is roughly 2–3 hours — launch-week players on the Steam forum describe ~2-hour finishes — while full completion with exploration lands around 8 hours per the AltChar review. Boss Rush and leaderboards add replay on top.
How do I unlock Boss Rush mode?

Is there still a demo?
Pre-launch there was a well-liked demo covering the canyon route (Kira → Axe → Kasei). As of late July 2026 the store page doesn’t list one, and players are asking for it back on the forum. If it returns, our demo-era boss notes are already re-verified against 1.0 where marked.
Can I turn down the gore?
Yes — the game leans into big blood-splatter effects (your blade stains the environment), and the official page confirms a gore reduction option in the settings.
What does "Save the Anky" / TINY TANK mean?
TINY TANK is an optional achievement — “Save the Anky” — for rescuing an Ankylosaurus, done by about 10% of players. Where exactly the rescue happens is being confirmed; forum threads affectionately call it “the tiny tank.”
What is the hardest boss in Dinoblade?
Depends how you measure. By pass-through rate, the hidden checkpoint right after Kasei — BROKEN PLATES, cleared by only 68% of Kasei-slayers — is the worst in the game; Kasei, the Tyrant is the famous early wall (47.7% overall). By community sentiment, the Reaper & Shade duo fight, which launch-week forum threads say “needs work” — though about 76% of players who reach it do win it.
