Dinoblade patch notes, annotated
Team Spino has shipped a patch nearly every day since launch. Below is every patch with our annotations — what it means for boss strategies and which community-reported bugs it fixed. Source: the official Steam news feed ✓ Steam-verified.
July 27 — second patch of the day
- Camera sensitivity slider fixed (it was preventing some players from playing at all) — this addresses one of the most-reported issues on our bugs page.
- Final Boss: small balance change. If the last fight felt different after July 27, it is not your imagination — see the final boss page.
- PlayStation controller button prompts added to the options menu.
- Target lock no longer unlocks when obstacles get in the way mid-fight — another top community report.
July 27 — first patch
- DLSS plugin added.
- Controller X/Y invert settings and sensitivity options.
- Final Boss: Ice Roar hitbox fixed — incidentally the first official confirmation that the final boss has an Ice Roar attack.
- Red Ashe: all attack hitboxes adjusted — if Red Ash felt unfair before July 27, the hitboxes were literally different. (The official notes spell it “Red Ashe”.)
- Fixed a rare bug forcing players to re-fight the third boss after beating it.
July 25
- Boss balance pass across fights — strategy notes written before July 25 may describe slightly tougher versions.
- Ending QTE bug fixed.
July 24
- Fixed the Akai loop bug — players were getting stuck fighting Akai Tsuki over and over, unable to progress. This matched the spoiler-tagged “Akai bug” thread on the forum.
- Controller Y button can now be keybound.
- Fixed a rare bug sending players back to the beginning.
July 23 (launch day)
- Keybinding reset bug fixed (back triggers).
- Loud explosion audio lowered.
- Minor boss balance changes.
